A former National Director of Sales and Marketing in the commercial electrical industry, his human resource knowledge was gained in managing people and working with HR professionals in large corporations.

    Brian earned his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from California State University at Long Beach, graduating with honors. His mathematical aptitude serves as a basis for the development and interpretation of Affirmative Action Plan statistical data.

    Additionally, Brian’s longtime experience in the sales and marketing field has given him the understanding the importance of delivering superior customer service.

    Karen established KBW Associates after transitioning from a Senior HR Consultant and former Human Resource Director for an international electronics firm. With specialized expertise in constructing Affirmative Action Plans and implementation and administration of effective Affirmative Action programs she began building a client base that continued to increase over the years. At that point her husband Brian began assisting by managing the software side of the business.

    Karen’s generalist background includes a broad range of workplace and human resource management issues. With over 25 years in the human resource field, she has assisted with start-up companies and divisional acquisitions as a senior member of a due diligence team. Becoming a certified corporate facilitator and trainer she developed course curriculum for leadership development, harassment, team building skills, and performance management. She was a key member in her management organization introducing world class manufacturing and total quality management concepts and methods into the workplace.

    After attending the University of Redlands to earn a bachelors degree in business management she obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of California at Riverside. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and a former District Director for Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA).
